Summary

Pulse Control Center is an end-to-end production management solution for an APU, covering process integration, fleet and warehouse management, production planning, maintenance, and reporting. Its stated benefits include workflow consistency, traceability, and cost-per-part analysis.

Description

Pulse Control Center is a standalone service deployed in-house within a closed network to manage a Supernova manufacturing cell. It acts as the centralized control layer for the complete manufacturing workflow, coordinating production operations and the connected equipment within the cell.

The service covers end-to-end production management, including process integration and fleet management, materials and warehouse management, production planning and simulation, maintenance and resource planning, dashboards and alerts, and cost and performance reporting. It also manages device firmware upgrades, collects manufacturing and equipment data, and supports the preparation and execution of work orders.

Pulse Control Center provides detailed build traceability and reporting across the manufacturing process. Approved workflows and manufacturing parameters can be preset and frozen, reducing operator-dependent variation and helping ensure repeatable production quality. The collected production data also enables performance analysis and cost-per-part reporting.

The project focuses on implementing and evolving this control-center software so that a Supernova manufacturing cell can be operated reliably from a single local service while remaining isolated inside the customer's in-house production network.
